I've seen the Kaiser Chiefs play live!! They were the warm up act for Franz Ferdinand when they were playing in Glasgow and the crowd just went mad for them!! I knew as soon as I saw them they would be big and that was way back in December...I Predict A Riot was the song that stuck out in my mind, it was just so great and the words actually mean somthing :)

laidz, i think you've got it all wrong. the songs about exactly the opposite from what you're saying- it concerns the destruction caused by ppl on the trashier sides of nights ur talkin about. chav scum causing a riot; pikeys flooding the streets at 11; etc etc.

It's about all the clubs closing @ the same time, forcing loads of people out onto the streets of the town (written about Leeds, but same for most places!) @ once. The chavs ("man in a tracksuit") think they're above the Indie people and so try to beat them up, causing a riot. Fab song!

This song kicks so much ass. I love the fact that the lyrics' meaning doesn't match the tempo at all, making the song completely senseless (a music quality that only the Brits seem to be able to pull off)!

he he, feels great to be from the town this was written about, it's scarily easy to identify with, hope to see KC go on to great things, my friends band played above them once in a local pub, when they were called 'Parma' and not KC, can't really remember much about it though. Anyway, a Leodenesian is a grammar school boy, Smeaton is probably some old friend they're having a dig at, reckon they're getting at bribary and cover ups with the upper classes. Laters
