He wants to find something more in his life, and "pass beyond" the wall that is separating him into the unknown. He has a strong desire to feel completely free to be who he is without any worries... basically he is searching for happiness. This song is amazing when played how it should be: in vinyl, on an old record player. ;)

The song is about an obstacle, between what the main character is and what he wants to be. All that he ever wants is behind that wall. He is afraid to try to tear it down. he fears that he is too weak. but in the end, he knows he must.
