	This makes me wonder about the song writter. Was he ever envolved is some sort of horrible accident?

	Nah, no "accident". It's a depression/drug song. Possibly prescription anti-depressants or sleeping pills. Something along those lines.

	^the term chemical imbalance is used generally in manic-depression, not regular depression.

	Actually it may also be about the battle between someone trying to "cure" someone who is depressed by filling them full of drugs (because depression is ALWAYS "chemical inballance" in todays world-sarcasm) when all they need is someone to understand/care about them.
