For me, this song might have to do with a father figure. Tigers are depicted in a vast amount of ways, so it's hard to say, but what we can say is that tigers are mystifying, silent and fearful creatures. At first I thought it wasn't about a person at all but an idea, and not a happy one, but she needs it to feel good but now I'm sure whatever it is, Katie feels like it keeps the darkness contained in her dreams. Who knows, but it's such an interesting song. Below is an expert that I knew that closely resembled the lyrics: "Tyger! Tyger! Burning bright In the forests of the night, What immortal hand or eye Could frame thy fearful symmetry?" ~William Blake, "The Tyger", Songs of Experience

This for me is by far the best song on the album. It has a very mellow vibe, and you are carried away by Katie's voice. It is simply beautiful.
