heh heh. You don't have to be a redneck to like this song; saying that one has to be one only shows your ignorance, Lloyd. You don't understand the message he's trying to get across: justice used to be so much simpler, but the corruption in today's courts and the way people can warp words screw up true fairness and justice for the injured. Think about what you're saying before you say it next time, Lloyd.

Does anyone think this song might not be entirely serious? I mean, most of it is an inspiring, law-and-order song, but then he ends each chorus with "...and beer for my horses," which sounds pretty silly. I think he's saying, "We're going to play up cowboy justice because it's fun and it's a nice idea, but we realize that we can't just get a posse together and kill the bad guys." If it's not intended to be at least a little ironic, I would like to know the significance of the line "beer for my horses."

I ain´t no redneck but I still love this song. It rocks! But: I actually can`t believe, that I do like the song despite the lyrics. I mean what the .... does this message lead us to? Round em up, hang em high in the street, leave the bodies to be seen so that all the othe evildoers will see whats gonna happen if they don´t abide by the rules? And whose rules? It sounds so goddamned simple and that is what makes this message so fucking dangerous. You know, if I stop thinking and just listen to my stomach I can go with what is said. Yeah, sure, put them down, he stole a car so hang him and so on and so on. What century are we living in? This is not the west in mid 18th century. I actually apreciate a LOT, that I´m given the chance to explain my case to a court of law, in case that I´d be accused of whatever, never happend to me though. I really wonder what kind of justice that would be if whisky drinking men on beer drinking horses had the chance to "Send ’em all to their maker and he’ll settle ’em down "! And thik about this: Who is THEM? I suppose it might be a very thin line thats drawn between US and THEM! And one last thing: A country that nearly crimilizes any1 who dares smoking a cigarette while at the same time allowing so called free citizens to carry handguns should not be ruled by the disciples of Mr. Lynch! I still like the song though...

So, drunken, 18th century cowboys and liver-damaged horses... can you get more REDNECK??? If we "saddle up our horses" to defend ourselves from "evil forces," we're gonna' get our ever-lovin' arses blown off by UZI's, TANKS, F16's, TEC 9's, etc.!!! Go home and put that huntin' rifle back on the gunrack before I take it away from you and beat you with the butt of it!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
