I was listening to an interview that Keith did about this song, and he said that it was supposed to have a tongue n cheek attitude about it. Basically, it's about being with someone, letting them go, but knowing the whole time that they are going to come back to you. The beat is outrageous on this song. It sounds even better live :)

i love this song and i don't love many country songs. A guy who loves a girl so much that he only wants her to be happy so he moves aside to let her do her thing. she fails and comes back and he's the better person by pretty much saying don't mention it and i won't mention either. hehe. finally the guy is the one to say i'll let you back in.

About a guy who had the faith that his relationship with a girl would work. She didnt believe him but eventually comes back to him and he doesnt wanna hear sorry and doesnt wanna say "I told you so"

Lovely song - not a big fan of country, but Keith is one of my favorites. Nice song about a guy who loves a girl so much that he just wants her to be happy. I guess she leaves him, but she loves him loads as well, and so she goes back to him, but the guy knows that she loves him lots as well, so he doesn't want to hear any apologies and he won't say anything like "I told you so that you loved me"
