| I wouldn't say the songs are about death, but rather about endings, and at times about the new beginnings that follow them. The themes get a bit repetitive and depressing at times, but the music is still good. As for this particular song, it's one of very few where I like the English version better, at least when it comes to the lyrics. To me this song seems to be about seeing a chance and taking it; believing in yourself and chasing your dream (in this case him quitting his job to make music.) Och lägg ner diskussionen om Kalle. | |

| I think this song is about death as a release. Excusing the morbidity of the song, I would agree that it's a simple but very passionate song. | |

| I was talking about the Swedish versions. Kalle kanske är en inbiten ungkarl, men jag vägrar tro att han är bög :) | |

| You know how sometimes you buy an album and there are those songs you just skip everytime you listen? Well, when I listen to Kent's albums, I never find myself doing this because every song is just amazing. The first song I ever heard by Kent was Den Döda Vinkeln. When I heard that song I just had to hear more so I searched all over for albums. Kent has so many beautiful songs I couldn't possibly like just one. I don't speak or read Swedish so when I listen to their songs I have no idea what they are saying, but for some reason, its like I can totally understand, at least the emotion. Their songs really move me... | |

| It's actually Swedish. Haven't listened to the English versions, but I can tell you that the singer/songwriter (he writes almost everything for the band) Joakim Berg is such a poet - the lyrics are brilliant! Simple as you've already said, but sooo... I don't know... he makes me cry. | |
