| this is one of his few down-to-earth reality songs like Oepidus Complex and Abortion(and yes this has a link to that song), and the meaning of the song is presented in the chorus-his love and trust for women had been shattered and people who talk shit about him and say he sucks dont knwo him and havent gone thru the bullshit hes gone thru, so fuck them thats what i got neway | |

| Stunning reality song. 'Tis about a man who loved a woman who later became pregnant with his child. Because he was Caucasian and she African-American, they had been forced to creep about and hide their true feelings for one another. They chose to abort their child so that no one would ever discover their secret. The man went on to become a musical artist and the woman found herself another lover who abused her and treated her like dirt. She continued to see both men until her live-in lover was jailed for possession of a loaded weapon. But she was pregnant with the second man's son and was frightened so the original man looked after the boy, raising him as his own. Later, the mother became pregnant by another man and gave birth to a daughter who the first man believed to be his. He was horribly emotionally damaged by this discovery, but continued to help bring up the two children. Before long, a third--his this time--arrived. It is the tale of a man's undying love for a rather slutty woman and events that take place over their years together. Some information from this song is factual. Kid Rock had a son with his girlfriend Kelly back in 1993 named Bobby. Kelly was a black woman. Before the birth of the child, they had kept their romance very quiet and Kid's parents didn't even know he had a lover up until that point at which it could no longer remain hidden. | |
