	this is my second favorite song on KSE's newest release, behind "rose of the sharyn." incredible song, to me its about nonconfomrmity and rebellion, not just for the sake of rebelling, but to save us from destruction, one way or another. if you look into the lyrics, it runs so much deeper than other songs like "Walk" by Pantera and basically every punk song every written that tries to preach a similar message.

	I disagree antennas because of the line "Seek the divine" which I can only think must refer to a higher being such as the Christian God. As for the line "abandon the safety of mindless following", I think what Howard is trying to say is how people feel they have to do certain things to feel a part of a group such as peer pressure into drugs or alcoholism. He wants people to think about their actions and not be mindless about them. I think someone who is "mindless" would probably not be a Christian because being being faithful requires the ability to ponder and comprehend the idea that there may be a higher being. But that's just my opinion.

	agree with all definitions above. adam d is a great guitar player. amazing band that has brought my faith into metal. this band has the best vocals and guitars. heavy and aggressive guitars with amazing and smooth guitars and fucking awsome choruses to the grave we take this oath, to leave this world

	"Open your eyes (Behold the path before you) See the divine (Forsake our demise) Open your eyes (Behold the path before you)" This song is obviously talking about coming to god. Realizing that there is another path - one that leads to eternal life, that this world is temporary and just a passing state & that we will soon go to the grave but that there is more afterwards. Antenna - you are mistaken. As beneathmeadows said, being a Christian is anything BUT mindless. It takes self control to not do things like steal and do drugs - and only believe what you see with your eyes. What's mindless is doing things like drugs and lying.. those take no effort and are very easy to give in to. "Pierce the blinders Behold the path that leads before you"

	"This next song goes out to those of you who like the combination of root beer soda and vanilla ice cream. It's called Take This Float" -What Adam said in concert before they played it here in Philly. Also, he was wearing really short shorts and prancing around on stage. It was amazing. Not many people in metal bands can pull this off, but he is a crazy mother fucker, and I love him for that. Of course, I really don't think this song's about root beer floats. It seems to be more about not conforming. I do like the float explanation though.

Destruction of innocence, and watch it breathe its last." it's like saying: "destroy what destroies you". or "sin kills. so kill sin!" don't give in to the shit around you that tries to destroy yourself. take a stand and make the difference in this fucked up world where integrity is hard to be found.

	Is it me, or do a lot of KSE's lyrics sound religous, or in particular, Christian? Half of them on Alive or just breathing are basically saying, Seek the divine, or, if you believe, you have, then your dead, but when you die, you have eternity in heaven. And this song is saying, "Take the oath that Jesus is the one, to the grave." My 2 cents
