| Judaspriest wtf? are you defending god? or are you reffering to sometihng else the road said on the rose of sharyn lyrics? if your defending god then wtf i mean hes god if hes really there wouldnt he defend himself? your blind this song is really about the fall of man without a god because god is a piece of shit. (no offense if i offended anyone besides judaspriest.) If your saying that killswitch is all about love and shit then your wrong only a couple songs on this album are about love, so dont shoot urself. ur the one lacking a brain if you worship god and shit (im assuming the road doesnt because he called god a bastard) then wtf ur just another casualty of religion. anyways i bet you people see what my interpretation of this song is. dont get pissed off at me for bashing god or something, keep your mind open and take in what other people have to say dont get mad at them for it. unless its directed at you like i directed it at judaspriest1977. | |

| no, sevendust blows. period end of discussion. and no, jimi was not metal, rather he was one of the foundation layers (with his amazing guitar skills) so therefore he can be considered a forefather :P. this is a great band, but they've not done anything for a wihle. and they need to bring back jesse, his music felt so much more genuine. | |

| I was watching the Killswitch Engage DVD one day, and people from other bands were talking about this song. One guys said "Just turn to the 14 year old next to you and mosh her training bra off." I couldn't stop laughing for about five minutes. So that is what I think about everytime I hear this song. | |

| I think this song is about how the fall of man may have been 'bad' but mankind has eventually become stronger for it- "When darkness falls we are reborn", and that now we, as people can "Stand firm in our solidarity" without that b*****d Big Brother God looking over our shoulder. | |

| I think it's talking about Christianity. The fall of man... we are reborn. My beliefs are not antiquated. It's like he's speaking to people who speak out against Christianity and telling them that, while they might believe that, he's going to believe in what he does even if he's alone. I know that Jesse was the religious one in KSE, but it seems that even after Howard joined, there's still a lot of focus on religion and faith in their lyrics. And what's SOAD fan talking about? I like both KSE and SOAD. But I have to say that KSE sounds nothing like nu. There's no other band like KSE out there. Hard, grinding metal has that shallow, violent stereotype, and KSE breaks that stereotype. Anyway, KSE reaches places that need reaching. | |

| Ok, this song actually has to do, well, the title, when Howard fell down the stairs. For those of you who dont know who Howard is, he is the replacement singer for Jesse. Howard is a rather large black man from Blood Has Been Shed. They call him Darkness. Ive heard the story a million times from those who know him and are related. (They are local's) And to SOAD_Fan_Uk....the new KillSwitch is amazing. Blood Has Been Shed, Howards other band, amazing as well. You like System of a Down...and your gonna talk shit? Eat it. | |

| pay no attention to SOAD Fan. he criticizes kse for sounding like nu-metal (total bullshit. they always have been and still are metalcore), but he pays no attention to shitty system of a down? read his other comments. he's totally ignorant (find his anti-semetic post). what a stupid fuck. if you're going to be a musical elitist, make sure the music you listen to isn't total shit. keep crankin' your mallcore, dick. about the song. it's good. not great. i don't really like the chorus, but the 'we are the remnants' part really shines. | |

| I have noticed a lot of the songs even with Howard have interpretations towards christianity. Rose of Sharyn for example has a lot to do with God and Jesus. Im not sure about this but it could mean, when he says 'When darkness falls, we are reborn' He means, when the everlasting battle against Satan ends(The Rapture) we are reborn by gong to into heaven, because we are faithful(atleast all christians are) My 2 cents, and yes, I am a christian. | |
