If you dont know the lyrics then dont write them. these are the real lyics and im writin them right outta of the cd case. Imprisoned inside this mind hiding behind the empty smiles So simple, the anguish, as it mocks me. Crawling back into the dark. Running, always running into the darkness Stop me before i bleed again. The echoes of my voice, follow me down. The shadows i cast follow me down. Deeper. Im falling into the arms of sorrow. Blindly descending into the arms of sorrow There must be serenity The echoes of my voice, follow me down. The shadows i cast follow me down. Deeper. Im falling into the arms of sorrow. Blindly descending into the arms of sorrow There must be serenity There must be deliverance The demon of my own design This horror must not remain Tear these walls down

great song... obviously about depression and not being able to get out of it... speaks volumes beyond that tho... for any situation where you might be falling down... but once again great song...

well. this song makes me think about my brother who died recently. it's saying to me that I'm just falling deeper into my emotional problems. I'm letting sorrow take me over. and this song, is one my favorites of all time. KsE helped me throught this tough time i'm going through with my brother.

Five comments?!?! Come on people, this is such an awesome song. I think they do have Christian lyrics but really a lot of songs could be classified that way. Pretty much any song these days that has a happy ending is considered Christian. Any whiney song is considered emo unless it has a sick bass in which case we call it hard rock. Anything with twang is country and anything with voice flutters is pop. It's fairly stereotypical and usually inaccurate but that's how it seems people classify music. It could just mean that he is sick of being miseable and is coming out of it. But it could point to God, many bands do songs like that nowadays.

Let's not start another jesse, howard arguement. This is KsE now, and I quite frankly like it better with Hojo a lil over Jesse.....but anyways.....ya The Arms of Sorrow owns. It's probably the best song writing I've ever heard.

To me, after watching the video, i feel as if the song is about saving yourself. It seems that maybe he has leaped or fell off of the building because of his sorrow. But at the end you see that the building is on fire. Everyone else has so much going on, that they don't even see their own destruction coming. But must have finally realized it, and then dove out in order to let him self be rescued from his sorrow. You'll notice at the end of the video that he is not falling to his death. He is not remaining in sorrow. But he is leaping to his rescue. Some say that KsE has very Christian lyrics, and whether they mean that he running away form the sorrow, and to God his Rescuer, I do not know. But nevertheless, he is letting go of the pain and sorrow.

It appears to be a song about depression. "imprisoned, inside this mind hiding behind the empty smiles" This states a sign of depression. People with depression ususally put on 'fake smiles' to hide the fact that they are feeling down so people won't bother them about what's up with them. "Running, Always running into the distance Stop me, Before I bleed again" This could be the person always running away from their problems and trying to hide them, yet at the same time, they hope to find help. "the echos of my voice follow me down the shadows I cast follow me down" The individual is alone and their depression, or even regrets or mistakes, follow him/her around like a shadow. "there must be serenity" They hope someday they will feel happier about themselves, and the pain or depression will fade a way and become a better person.

This is an amazing song, the passion in his voice sends shivers up my spine, aspecially when he sings the first two lines and "the echoes of my voice" it almost sounds like he's about to cry. Doesnt really matter what you interperet the lyrics as, aslong as it means something to you.

This is a pretty damn good song. It seems to be about just sinking deeper into depression or sorrow.

I think that this song's meaning is about someone trying to hide their sorrow from something bad happening to them (for instance, a close on dieing) After trying to hide the sorrow and anguish the person is trying to find an escape or the serenity of getting over the sorrow but they keep going back into the "darkness" (sorrow) and they cant keep from going back into the darkness.

this song is wicked i think its about a guy, who is depressed and full of sorrow, and he cant get out of his sorrow state of mind because of something that occured to him. i can relate to this song, and it helps me get through my hard times, because i also think that near the end of the song and music video, he makes it through, ya no?

to me the video and song seems to mean that no matter how far you fall most likely depression you can always get back up because in the vid the guy falls a far way but starts climbing back up soon as he gets there just my thought though
