	wow...I haven't checked this site in forever. thanks mkfanatic, you're kickass for calling me kickass! and no, notFRANK, happyalone.com isn't an indie rock page, it's a kings of leon forum and it's amazing. I don't like the official forums, cause they're notorious for having annoying people on them. but everyone at happyalone is really nice, and extremely helpful. oh, and I thought I'd set the record straight on the explanation I gave for the bucket... I've since heard the kings interviewed several times and apparently it's about touring, and how you can become a jackass when you constantly have people building up your ego (screaming fans -- girls). it's about them catching themselves being assholes, and not wanting to turn into them.

	this song is definitely about life on the road and how the band are coping with it...... it is not exclusive to how jared is coping.......they have all been changed by the experience......they have changed from from preachers sons to drug addicted rock stars.......this song just reflects that change

	actually, I read that caleb wrote this song about jared. It makes a lot of sense. They were touring a lot, and jared's the youngest (eighteen). It's basically caleb's observations about jared (how he's dealing with the fame), and the things that would get on his nerves. look at it in the context of the song, "I'll be the one to show you the way, you'll be the one to always complain. three in the morning come a bang bang bang, 'all out of fags and I just can't wait.' " another clue is in the last verse when he says "I hate the way you talk, your japanese scream." not only is jared known for his girly laugh...the first bass he played was japanese. but at the end of the day, as cliché as it may be, it's about brotherly love, "always remember the pact that we made. too young to die, but old is the grave." that's my two cents. call me obsessed. but kol are the best band ever.

	dude, the kings are way too good and way too hip to care that you put them down...... :-) (shh.... don't tell anyone, but i agree with the 18 balding star bit)... i havn't seen them live but really really want to........ i live in australia so its hard.
