| Really reminds me of Black Sabbath's Planet Caravan. | |

| i think the song is about "spacing out" on drugs, because that's what a space cadet is-a slang term for that. and i think-yes-the term "earth acid" is like mushrooms. it's about just spacin' out on natural shit. | |

| I think it's about him being in touch with the planet. Saying screw it to women and sex and loving his planetm he'd rather sleep with it. There's no hassle with fucking the world, no need to cum. | |

| I think you're all wrong. He does say room and not womb. He also says "Calms" not "Comes" or "Cums." It's very possible this song is about a woman, or a past relationship and he's very lonely. The quick pace of the world never lets him settle, or anyone else for that matter, the world it never calms. | |

| I totally agree with rottenseed, but I do like the other explanation that everyone else has come up with. Josh Homme is quite the advocate of marijuana and mushrooms so it makes perfect sense. Also, he's a 'Space Cadet' because he's either really high or likes to get really high if anybody didn't make that connection. | |
