| I take it to mean something along the lines of defending yourself for so long you aren't even sure what against anymore. It also has to do with how this destroys the people around you, people who shouldn't be involved in the first place. Beautiful song, odd at first but it becomes addictive. As with most Lacuna Coil songs. | |

| Yes I have to agree with acetica, but I think that they are saying religion is also used to justify wars. Hence the title. Is war ever truly justifiable though? I believe its unavoidable at times, but people should never decieve themselves into thinking that justice was served. | |

| I have to agree a bit with a bit with LaDiablo. I Think that It deals with defending yourself against something but always losing and dragging others into it. Amazing song though, I only just started to listen to them but so far they're amazing | |
