| I love this song. I think it's about a long distance relationship and the struggle to move or stay. He's lost his inspiration where he is but is afraid to go to a place he won't like. 'Five years desensitized, you're my inspiration'. -the time in love but apart. 'Ten thousand silent miles to hell'. -the stress and distance of the plane ride moving to a disliked place to be with her. 'Four well drinks and I am well'. -impulsive ideas get better with drinks. 'Six months in hiatus, a lifetime to short to save us'. -realises that he can't stay when his life is elsewhere, but the pain to leave is incredible. He's a bad scene, when he is miserable because of the situations he gets into. He's 'sick of hanging around and waiting'. -trying to fit in in her world, as a broken machine. That's my interpretation, it means a lot to me. | |
