Lyrics:
(Verse)
By now you should find your mouth. By now you should call me, we can work
it out. I follow it until the end of concession. "A falling out" I heard
from them, there's no discretion. I'm burning out on this. By now you
should be in a better place, and thinking for yourself. It's not your axe
to grind.
(Chorus)
And this is my latest confession. I hope you hear about it.
(Verse)
Victim I know the saints come to call and bring you obsession, to save
you from your fall. Victim I know it won't be long. 'Till one woth
possessing is one you'll never reach.
(Chorus)
Swallow it until the end of our concession. I'm sure I'll hear from you
through them, there's no discretion. I'm burning out on this, and this is
my latest condition. I doubt you'll hear about it, it's only indecision.
This is your latest condition, I hope you hear about it soon.
And that's the whole thing! let me know if there are any comments,
changes or anything else you have. I may even take requests!
Luke

| I think this song is more of a statement on friendships than the relationship in question. Probably had a bad "falling out" despite the guys efforts, and now that the girl has moved on and cares little for the guy("I doubt you'll hear about it") she does things that drive him crazy, and his friends use no "discretion" when informing him about all the things she does now that she isn't with him. That's his "obsession", not coping with the one he'll never reach. | |
