| its all about hating a bad because they finally recieve the fanbase they deserve. If a band decides to sign on to a larger label, all the power to them. As long as they don't conform to what the label wants them to be. THAT is selling out. It takes a lot more than making a living for a band to sell out. | |

| People like the one in this song remind me of a little boy that has a very precious toy and he is so proud of having it because no one else does. And after some time more and more children get this toy ('cause its relly cool :) ). And suddenly this boy doesn't like it anymore. Perhaps you know what I mean. Anyway I like the comments on that song because here the most important side of a band hasn't been forgotten (like sometimes in "may 16"). Its Songs. Great Lyrics ! Mr. Cape wrote what I call right... | |

| This is a great song. It is about people who pass judgement and say "oh that band sold out" but in reality how can you pass a judgement on them. 'could you ever write what you call wrong?' | |

| I know this song attacks people like me but you just get so pissed off because you spent all of this time over a band you discovered out of your own time, you searched high and low for, and then they are played on the radio and all of these teeny boppers sell out and start liking their music, it's really annoying. It's what happened to Blink 182 and Sum 41 | |

| Locust, A) Sum 41 sucks.(I can see the flames coming a mile away) I still can't figure out why people like them. B) Why the hell do you get pissed off about that? You should be happy to share your band and their songs with the rest of the world. | |

| this song is more of a ballad than a song. It tells about what music is and what fans believe in. It's all about how people say bands sell out and are hipocrits themselves cause they sell out. Joey is a lyrical genious | |

| "The bands are good 'til they make enough cash to eat food and get a pad" ehehe.. i know a lot of ppl who are so freakin selfish when it comes to their favorite band's success. if you really like them, you want them to get the fame they rightfully deserve right? =D | |

| What people dont seem to realize is the goal for nearly all bands is to "sell out." To sell out every show they play. Thats the point, no one becomes a professional musician to not make any money. The difference is whether the bands let the success and fame change them as people and musicians. In relationtion to the song: Joey writes "The bands are good til they make enough cash to eat food and get a pad." This is so true, I'm a professional musician and i barely make enough money to pay the rent. I would kill for a good record deal or a lot of fans. I make music for people to hear it, not so i can feel elite. People need to seperate music from the bullshit. | |
