| i think this song is about someone who keeps himself in hurtful situations, while everyone around him (including the speaker in the song) is just like, "quit it, it's redundant already". there are just people who put themselves in bad places so they can martyr themselves to the romantic cause and be so heroically afflicted; and the people around them tend to get sick of hearing about it-- because you can't keep on pulling for someone who never wants to make things better for themselves. in the end noone gives a shit about the problems they don't wanna escape besides for themselves. | |

| i have the song, emorocks. anyway, i think its about this guy who everyone keeps asking him for the answer, and he doesn't have it, and he's just sick of hearing it all, and whats to move on to new people that don't lean on him so much. | |

| fatkid FTW. Methinks by hurtful situations, it can be specifically applied to relationships. Great, relate-able song. | |

| this is by far my favorite lagwagon song. why? i can relate so much to this song. i can't say how many times it's felt like a relationship i'm in is going great .. and then it just turns .. bad. like a bad love story. it's like my theme song. i think joey did a really great job writing these lyrics. and [onemorebrokenheart,] you did a nice job of explaining the lyrics because i think the song's about all that as well, and i also think everyone's been in those shoes before ... well, i know i have. | |
