	I believe this song is a description of death. If you look he mentions 2 soldiers, not just 1. Ones obviously from the south, the other is from a third world country. This song is about what deaths job is in a war, most likely that occuring in Iraq. And yes Virginia is considered the south.

	why is the lyrics different from the music i downloaded? i downloaded devil in god's country...im sure of it, but i don't see any words in that song on that lyrics...what gives?

	I dont know, but I cant stand all that southern pride bullshit. You're from the south get over it. But I think you're on a lead with your meaning. Sounds right to me.

	I think this song is about war in general. But of course Randy Blythe (and just about everyone else in the world) HATES George W. Bush. I know he's not the best president we've ever had (nor the smartest :P) but geez, it seems like everyone's against that dude. Oh well whatever, Lamb of God is awesome. One of the best bands out there today.

	Hmm, actually now looking at it again and comparing the lyrics to the title it may be talking about a terrorist. Tymothy Mcvay could be the down south soldier he's talking about. Third world is obvious (Osama perhaps?) The rest is about death.
