Subj: Boogie With Stu by Led Zeppelin
It's me again, the leader of the Led Cult, with another missing Zep
piece.
************************* Boogie With Stu ************************************
From the album Physical Graffiti
by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones,
John Bonham, Ian Stuart, & Mrs. Valens
This song shows how great a percussionist John Bonham is. His wierd
little drum beat is accentuated by Jimmy Page's "Rock N Roll" like riff.
To play this song, Page uses an acoustic 6-string guitar. The guitar is
pretty much the same through the whole song.

This is one of those songs where Robert tends to
mumble the lyrics, so these lyrics aren't totally
accurate
Leaving town, now, baby
(I'd) leave before I call
Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah Darlin'
Leave before I go home
I don't want no Tutti-Fruiti-
No-life rock
Now come on baby just rock rock rock
Yeah ya ya ya honey,
We can shake them on down...
Whoa wo wo wo Darlin'
We just go on and ride...
Ahhhhhh
Ooooh... my head..
ROCK ON!
Hey Babe, Hey Babe (x4)
I don't no Tutti-Fruiti-
No-Life Rock...
Now come on baby just rock rock rock
I don't no Tutti-Fruiti-
No Life Rock
Now come on baby just rock rock rock

| Great song. I love how simple and fun it was. A lot of Zeppelin tunes are so... serious and deep leaving many people to believe that they were so serious and stuff. Songs like this show that they liked to just have fun and play simple and light too. You can even hear them laughing at the end. | |

| Big Zep fan here. However to say they didn't rip off Willie Dixon and others is absurd. They lost a court case BECAUSE they didn't credit Dixon with You Shook Me or I Can't Quit You. Not only that but the Lemon Song is basically Killing Floor lyrics. Now a good example of what taal 19 is refering to would be "Bring it on Home" Which is a Sonny Boy Williams song. This song begins as a straight rip off but then it gets all Jamming and ALL Zeppelin. But heck truth is ALL of the British invasion ppl ripped off American Blues and if they hadn't American Blues may still be unknown by most Americans. | |

| I have one question: Who is Stu? Otherwise, pretty good song from Physical Graffiti. Has a nice melody and a fun, boogie down feel. | |
