This is my best shot to nail this song down. It's pretty tough to sound
just like the original--there's like 4 guitar overdubs plus an electric piano,
but this is the main part.

| Great song, I must say, I agree with pmartin. I think the world would be a better place if we all just slowed down. What is Robert singing at the end? Sounds like "Don't they know that they're (going?)" | |

| Filler? Physical Graffiti is "filler"? Oh contraire! This album was the blossoming of their talent. As Plant told the media many times, Zeppelin cannot be defined in a single direction; their projection is 360 degrees. There are very few rock bands with this kind of variety in sound. yes, Zepp are masters of heavy rock, but they proved in this album that they are so much more than that. And "Down by the Seaside" is one perfect example. Hey, I'm not a Country music fan at all, but this tune is KILLER! And the message speaks to my heart as well. i give it a 10. | |

| This song reminds me of when I was 19 and I was travelin around San diego. then I spent a couple of days in Ocean beach .. each an every morning I was walking down the beach, sat and just listen to the waves eyes closed.. I could spent 3-4 hours doing it. I know what this song means .... people move to fast these days... and for what ? | |
