This song is about how the ska community preached about their so called "unity", but also bashed homosexuals. I agree with every fucking word of this song. Face it people, unity never was alive, and probably never will be until the world has ended. There will always be people or races or beliefs that won't be accpeted. There will always be war. There will always be homophobes.

this song is related to the homophobic behaviour over at hell-cat records, which is also the reason for their departure. the band said so in a recorded interview.

Homophobia is rampant in our society. Why is it "uncool" to go around expressing rascist views, but homophobic views, which are just as ignorant, are widely accepted? LoC has the balls to tell it how it is: Ignorance is ignorance, fuck the rascists and the homophobes.

the line in the first chorus "you're turning your native music into a homophobic disgrace" is a reference to Buju Barton. He's a reggae artist from Jamacia that's signed to Hellcat Records. And when LOC left Hellcat they attack it for being homophobic and sexist and used him as proof. And the changed line in the second chorus about the hardcore scene could be a reference to the US Bombs who they said were also homophobic...homophobia is fucked up...the reason that people can get away with it is because of the bible, but then again people used the bible as reason for saying blacks were inferior and for the senseless murders in the south...great song though

i thought it would point out the allusion to Operation Ivy's "Freeze Up" that appears in the first line of the last stanza of this song.

Oh and yea its an allusion to both "Unity" and "Freeze Up". See the end "2000 triple zero stand up and take a look around...." its like "1989 stand up and take a look around...." in Freeze Up.
