| ignorance? IGNORANCE?! chasem, how *dare* you accuse those commentors of ignorance when you yourself obviously have no idea whatsoever what is honestly going on in the government! you say that bush is trying to stop corrupt politicians? well, (sit down, this may come as a shock) bush *is* the corrupt politician! he bypasses laws and ignores advice, resulting in thousands of casualties in iraq! he also misleads us americans with false information. don't believe me? here are some examples: he didn't provide the troops in iraq with proper body armor, lied about there being weapons of mass destruction in iraq, ignored several warnings before 9/11 about terrorists groups possibly using aircraft in an attack, lied to the american public by telling them that there was a link between al qaeda and saddam hussein, and so much more. oh, did i mention that we are now in over 7 trillion dollars of debt because of him as well? the meaning of this song is strong, especially in times like theses. give peace a chance. | |

| yeah i can tell that i am a little rose is only about 14. if you knew anything about what was going on with corrupt politicians then you wouldnt have said any of that. bush didnt NOT listen to the attacks on 9/11 the fucking white house gets threats almost eveyday, im sorry but if we tried to deal with all of them then that would be all that the government did. and for providing the american public with false information thats not true either. he didnt lie about there being weapons of mass destruction, he was going by the top government officials who had heard information that there were weapons over there. which also disproves you saying how he doesnt take advice. and the country is not in debt 7 trillion dollars from bush!!!!! i believe that, that is from all presidents not just him. like i said IGNORANCE! | |

| This song is so sad. One of my friends just lost a really close friend in Iraq last Sunday. Great christmas present form our dumbass president isn't it?!?! It was sad because I was the first one he called and he was crying and it really tore me up even though I didn't know the guy who died. great way for our government to say Merry Christmas ain't it?!?! | |

| Just because they signed up for the military doesn't mean they wanted to kill somebody (or be killed themselves) Sure they knew the risks, but not everybody joins the military because they really, really want to. There are many people who live in horrible conditions and have no schooling (since they can't afford it) and the military is the best way (as they see at the time) for them to leave the poverty that is their lives. I personally don't like the "war" (it isn't a war since Congress never officially declared war) in Iraq and I think before the United States goes to "help" other countries out we should focus on internal issues, such as poverty, homelessness, hunger and other issues plaguing every major city and the majority of the smaller towns. Also, back to the military, just because they sign up doesn't mean they get to do what they want. My step-brother was supposed to do coimputer stuff for the Marines and they told him all that but when he actually enlisted they changed what they would have him do (of course, it was his mistake of not getting it in writing) but he was lucky enough not to have shipped to Afghanistan or Iraq. There are also National Guard (and Reserve) units being sent over to Iraq who most of the people enlisted never thought they would have to see combat, but they were wrong. This country has so many problems (mainly financial) and I think if the President and his cronies would cut military budgets that could save the country a lot of money. But hell, what do I know anyway? | |
