Eric
Wanna Be

the song is about the party scene and how "fake" people drown their self in beer and pretend to have an opinion on things like poiltics. the fake people get drunk, have fake conversations and leave just as fake as they came. another way it could be interpurted is applying it ot high school. or at least the one i go to. all the fake people go out, get drunk, and back-stab their best friend. and back-stabing is the birth place of politics. these people rely on the confidence booze gives them to get through the weekend. they never are truely thinking clean and by the time they "drop your plastic cups and clear your clouded heads" they have nothin left but a hangover and the plans for next weekends drunken get-togeth. O Joy O Bliss

I don't really agree...this can be true with or without fake people. Some people use alcohol as a crutch, whether that be to give them confidence, make them artificially happy, etc... I think that's what this song is saying, and that doesn't just apply to fake people.
