SHORT ON IDEAS - Less Than Jake
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by Stallo (rubensophus@hotmail.com)
It's a cool song, but it would be even cooler if someone plays bass in the
background as the verse mainly consists of a C chord
Verse:
E|-------------------------|
B|-------------------------|
G|-5------------10-10-10---|
D|-5-let ring---10-10-10---|
A|-3------------8--8--8----|
E|-------------------------|
Chorus:
E|-------------------------|
B|-------------------------|
G|-5---5-------------------|
D|-5-5-5-3-----------------|
A|-3-5-3-3-----------------|
E|---3---1-----------------|
End Chorus:
E|-------------------------|
B|-------------------------|
G|-7--10-------------------|
D|-7--10-------------------|
A|-5--8--------------------|
E|-------------------------|
After Chorus:
E|------------------------|
B|------------------------|
G|-5------10-9-7-5*-------|
D|-5-5-5*-10-9-7-5*-------|
A|-3-5-5*-8--7-5-3*-------|
E|---3-3*-----------------|
*repeat chord 3 times
After Chorus the last time
(when switching to
one last cigarette):
E|------------------------------3-----|
B|------------------------------5-----|
G|-5------10-9-7-5*---10-9-7-5*-5-----|
D|-5-5-5*-10-9-7-5*---10-9-7-5*-5-----|
A|-3-5-5*-8--7-5-3*---8--7-5-3*-3-----|
E|---3-3*-----------------------3-----|
/
play twice
play the last chord in ska style and follow Darren Northfield's tab (also
found at punkhardcore.com) to play one last cigarette

| This song seems to have been heavy inspiration for Roger when writing the lyrics to Rehasher's song "Average". and its good that someone is addressing this problem, cuz it really IS a problem on a side note i absolutely LOVE the riff between this and One Last Cigarette. the two match so well. | |
