I feel that it is about a guy/girl who has moved on in his life, like away from his previous scene..."Don't look back into the sun Now you know that the time is come And they said it would never come for you, oh oh oh oh" if think this refers 2 a person who has strived 2 get away from summin, and now he shouldnt look back onto his previous. "Oh my friends you haven't changed You're Looking rough and living strange And I know, you've got a taste for it too, oh oh oh oh" i think this part refers 2 him loookin at he/she mates and seein them still @ the same game, theyre still messed up. "And I know, you've got a taste for it too" this confirms it 4 me that it is a reference to smack, like his mates r junked up. The addiction 2 smack is confirmed here "They'll never forgive you but they won't let you go, oh no She'll never forgive you but she won't let you go, oh" The smack is personified by she and they. It then shows how hard it is 2 forget his mates..."Then they played that song at the Death Disco It started fast but it ends so slow And all the time it reminded me of you" hes been reminded of the good times of his mates but @ the back of his mind he knows he must move on hence the title "Dont look back into the sun"

probably the greatest libs song. correct lyrics are: NOW you know that THE time has come / YOU'RE looking rough.. / BUT I know you've got a taste for it too / THEN THEY PLAYED that song at the.. IT STARTED fast BUT it ends so slow AND ALL THE TIME IT REMINDED ME OF YOU.

Wheather the don't look back into the sun bit is a reference to the part of the bible where the woman looked back at the city and was turned into a pillar of salt is debatable. Also it could be about forgetting the past and moving on. luke.mac1@gmail.com

but what do you think does the song mean? and especially the title? does it mean that you shouln'd like stare (back) at the sun or does it mean you shouldn't look behind you into the sun??

The death disco is an ever so hip club night held at the notting hill arts club. Altho they're doing it in america too. I'm guessing its a reference to it.
