| ok ok, up the bracket does mean to punch someone in the throat, its from the carry on films i believe. to explain some more 'english references'..... shadow men are police and yes those are the roads. if you want to put a 'plot' to it, its basically pete (who wrote this song without carl i think) being followed around london by police officers looking for someone he knows, and he gives them 'the fingers'. and pete no longer has seroius drug problems by the way. | |

| update: Pete definatelly still has a drug problem. The date i type this is 2/13/05 and pete was arrested more then a week ago and is currently in rehab for addiction to heroin and crack cocaine. | |

| i love this song. for those who dont know i reckon its about pete(or whoever wrote this song) being chased by a gang for sum girls adress but he flicks the v's(english talk for stickin 2 fingers up at sum1) and runs away only to get punched up the bracket up 3 flights of stairs (up the bracket is english talk for gettin punched in the throat) i love the libs! GO ENGLISH PEOPLE!!(im from london in case you didnt guess!) | |
