	I think 'Since you said goodbye/Polka dots fill my eyes' means tears in his eyes after the girl has left-he is crying. Similarly at the end, polka dots fill the sky -raining? continuing the melancholy imagery

	The line "since you said goodbye/ polka dots fill my eyes" makes me think of when you lok at something bright for a long time, then look away, and you see little spots of color. It's like she was a bright shiny part of his life, then when she said goodbye, he's got those little spots of color blocking his vision.
