This is my interpretation of the song played live @ Doritos sessions. It sounds
correct to me, and seeing the video of the performance,

it looks accurate too. The other tab doesn't sound that correct to me, see for ya selves.
I'm not sure what are the names for these chords so I marked them like this:

* = 033000 (like Em on 3th) or 0330xx
** = 055000

(note that in the chorus and interlude part where it goes C-G-Am-G, the tempo goes 2x
faster)

- VERSE I -

Am Dm F G Am
Silence is golden, but I think it's gonna kill me now

Dm F G Am
Everything I've seen, Never seem to feel me now

Dm F G
No one told me that the world could fall through yeah

- CHORUS -

F G E Am F
In between this, am I gonna find a way

G E Am F
To defeat this living inside yesterday

G C G Am G
I'm alive but I think it's time to live, like I am

Dm * **
Am I ever gonna find it,

Dm * **
Am I ever gonna find it,

Dm * Em Am
Am I ever gonna find out.

LINK Am Dm F G

- VERSE II -

Am Dm F G Am
Patience can wait for now I think I waited for too long

Dm F G Am
You always gave a choice And the right to be wrong

Dm F G
All my life has been slippin' through your hands yeah

- REPEAT CHORUS -

- INTERLUDE - F G E Am 2X
F G C G Am G 1X

F E Am F
In between this, am I gonna find a way

E Am F
To defeat this living inside yesterday

G C G Am G
I'm alive but I think it's time to live, like I am

Dm * **
Am I ever gonna find it,

Dm * **

I love this song. It's really catchy and the chorus is awesome. From what I can understand (interpertations are not my forte) this song seems to be about realizing that there's more to life than materialism (evidenced in the line "Everything I've seen never seems to fill me now"), like relationships and spirituality. =P Well, that's my crappy interpertation.

i think it's about being young and wondering what your life has in store for you and even though he's been patient, it's time for him to figure out where he's headed with his life.

i was going to wait untill the new album came out, but i cheated and downloaded this song, and a few others. whoops i cheated. i am really looking for ward to going out on the 17th and buying the new album. the boys of Lifehouse faced a large challenge when they attempted to follow up No Name Face, judging by a few songs, they did just fine

"Silence is golden, but I think it's gonna kill me" is one of the best lyrics I have ever heard. Best song on the album.

its actually, "patience can wait for now/ i think ive waited for too long/ you always gave a choice/ and the right to be wrong i love this song I think is kinda a bit about fakeness " im alive i think its time to live like i am , am i ever gonna find it, am i ever gonna find out" "all my life has been slipping through your hands yeah" friends deciding what to do and how they should dress etc. its like following a crowd but deciding that you want to be an individual and find out what its like on your own, being your own person, hence the chorus.

My interpretation of the song is a person going through a struggle. It seems like someone has been controlling his life, and he finally realizes this and knows that he has to take control of his life again, but he seems to be confused with it all. It may be different than what you guys see it as, but I've always pictured a struggle with this song.

Amazing lyrics. Yeah, this definetly has to be one of the best songs on the album. This is like my life song. I totally agree with ita_xoxo's interpetation. Couldn't have said it better myself. Anyways, good song.
