Just a point, every song on No Name Face has Christian meaning, look for them, they aren't hard to find at all. Try starting with the song "Everything."

To me this seems to be a song about someone who is fighting an addiction. Like an alcoholic he sucked into a cycle of getting drunk, then swearing never to do it again. He despises himself for not being stronger and able to keep his relationship from falling apart. Or maybe this is about a guy struggling with a realization that he’s bi (or gay). He’s terrified of losing his lover, and perhaps lifestyle. He is constantly between denial and desperation. He is trying to consciously influence his emotions, but in the end he finally understands that he can’t fight who he is.

I fully believe that everyone should be able to get multiple meanings out of a song... Personally I believe that this song is about struggling with sin. To me it is the only meaning that fits with no stretching. I also know that Jason is open about his struggle with sin but does not struggle majorly with obsessions about his past friends. Jason used to lead worship at my church and he always was really honest about things. Anyway I think that you should take what you can from a song and if that message affects or changes your life then Jasons purpose is accomplished... God Bless You All

This song is very personal for me. It's about a guy who bends over backwards to show a girl how much he loves her, but she just keeps leading him on without ever really being with him (the line at the beginning about shame means that she's probably cheating, too).

Ok ok ok enough already! i know i commented above, but returning a few months later this is really starting to piss me off and i have something to add. now, i believe in God as much as the next person blah de blah- but i really think these Christians should stop trying to brainwash everyone by saying that this song MUST be about sin and that, because *in their humble opinion*, it fits- now who the hell are you guys to influence normal people's thinking about something which is as multi-faceted as a song. the answer is NO-ONE. "miss secretary"- i think you are living in a little world of your own along with the pixies- and it's fine by me if you want to carry on deluding yourself that you knew Jason, but please don't force your sad little dream on us. now i have no problem with people expressing their views on this (after all, that's what it's for), but it pisses me off when people keep posting comments which are EXACTLY the same as the previous 20! for god's sake get an opinion of your own rather than "ohh yes sin god salvation bullshit bullshit bullshit". and skygazer86 it's people like you that annoy the hell out of me you're sick and stupid and i have no idea what you're on about but stop preaching on this and trying to brainwash people. to be honest i don't care about christ saving people but at least i don't go forcing my opinions on others like you. jeez, just when i thought the world couldn't get any more pathetic assholes like you come along. stop being a sheep and leave your cult- come back to Earth and stop randomly making up stuff and then saying it's a quote. it's quite clearly not, and there is no such book as "Romans". i should know. *laughs manically at stupidity of retard* that's it. just my 2 cents. cheque please
