| This song may be about love, but it's about love of God and/or Jesus. Lifehouse is a christian band and their songs are about God and Jesus. Although, I have related it to a love in my life. It was just in a dream that I had about a girl that I have liked for about 2 years now. In the recent months past, I have actually grown to love her, I think so anyway. Well, the dream was just that she and I were dancing close together and slow in a very dimly lit room and this song (Somewhere In Between) was playing. It was very cool. It's like, I wish this were real, but it's just a dream ("What is real, just a dream."). Thanks. b | |

| ok this is pretty funny actually... dont ask how or why but im actually crying over this song right now, this is my life in a nut shell at the moment, the song is anything you all make it out to be, to me its about someone you want or he wanted so much but couldnt have, then i also think it could be a relationship problem. But i love this song if i want to be depressed even more :'( | |

| I know someone said this already, but this song was written for Jason's girlfriend, now wife, before they were together. This song is really special to me.. it helped me thru a tuff time with an ex boyfriend while we were having problems and this song was exactly what was going thru my head at the time, if this has ever happened to you, then you know what im talking about... Lifehouse, well there are no words... | |

| .. someone very special to me told me that this song detailed the pain of getting over someone. I don't know how she saw that, but if someone can elaborate, please tell me.. because it was the last straw for her in a very delicate relationship that ultimately collapsed.. To me, though, the song is about love. About a love so strong that you can't believe that you're "losing sleep over this." You pace, pace out of a fear that she's hurt (odd circumstances that week), and pace out of disbelief of yourself. That this love can't be this strong. Just give me a few hours, and maybe I can sort this out.. "'cause I'm waiting for tonight. Been waiting for tomorrow." You've been waiting forever, and to find it now? Is this real, or just a dream.. ? Sara, I'm sorry that I hurt you.. | |

| it very well could be a song about a relationship that the writer lost and wishes he could have it again.. he doesnt believe that it's gone he doesn't know if its real or just a dream.. -- but see it very clearly different way.. i see it as a love that he cant have.. and he "don't want to run away from this, I know I just don't need this" but ultimately he doesn't know what to do.. he's "pacing" and he's "somewhere in between". -- i just read dragons post.. and the first part is just what i wrote ;p .. as for the GOD thing.. just because your a christian band doesn't mean that everything has to relate to god.. you people that are avid christians and such are so narrow minded.. open your eyes.. there is more to life than you think. ( just my two cents.. take it or leave it ) | |

| This is about this guy I liked for two years on and off and realizing the regrets I had and at the same time, I couldn't do anything about it at the moment. | |
