| i love it when he says..."i haven't memorized all the cute things to say- but i'm working on it." it just makes me think about how people think that they have to live up to certain expectations..but noones perfect. he probably hears all these guys telling their girlfriends all these cheesy lines and he thinks that he has to do that too but he hasn't learned it yet. he just feels that pressure and hes trying like everyone else is. thats what everyone in life is doing..just trying to be their best. | |

| I see this song in a different way. I believe he's addressing a girl, or rather, a girl who's a bit "uptight" about her faith. (Could you let down your hair/And be transparent for a while/Just a little while/to see if you're human after all) I think what Jason's trying to say is that he is far from perfect and he doesn't have all the answers to life's questions...but he's working on it. He's not perfect, but his faith is real. | |

| I think this song represents the purity of learning. Learning about life, love, and how to be happy without being fake. My favorite line (by far) is, "And if I should fall / To the bottom of the end / I'll be one step back to you" because that can also be interpreted as a moving-on song. I'm moving on, but even if I can't move on, I can always go back to you and that would be okay. | |

| ooo i luv this song, its soo good. it was on the end of "third watch" the other night and i almost started crying...mostly bc of his voice. he has a great voice and i think thats what make most of their songs great, also bc of the lyrics tho! | |
