This is the best song on the Results May Vary album, i know it's is about how Fred seems to like some seasons more than others asa ametaphor for life events. To me it's about that time in your life when you leave school and you realise for the rest of your life your gonna be a slave to the system, work takes over and it all repeats. "Down Another Day"

Oh, another one of summing it up is that he is holding onto a summer romance he has had, when the other person has already let it go.

I think its about a relationship. And judging on what Fred was feeling during the production of this album, I'd take a good guess is probably is. Apart from that, I feel its about looking back, possibly regretting, and missing things. About how he was feeling at those certain points he was looking back at. As far as it is talking about someone he was in love, or interested in, he is looking back and realizing that this person is still in his head. Sounds as if he is trying to get her out of his head, but no matter what, he always ends up thinking about her. And he knows no matter how many times he tells her he'll never let her down and try to get her in his grasp...he knows he should just say goodbye, cause shes already gone.
