I think that this song is about someone whos close friend is lieing to be better then his/her friends like rumors or making people believe that there something there not.
I agreee with saying that this song is ab being treated wrong. Linkin Park is my fav band, and this is my all time favorite song. You can't appreciate the song, until you have lived it.
Jesus Christ, just reading these lyrics makes me cringe, it's just marketing angst, it has no meaning. Oh noes i'm so unhappy got nothing inside of me waaaaah! life sucks! waaaah! It's like reading the diary of an adolescent middle class goth. 'Middle class' being the key term here.
Vannaroth agree with you, to a certain extent , but music is a reflection of self is it not? And as such propogates the emotions felt by the artist at the time... To the many 'adolescent, middle class goths' youre unfairly branding a bunch of whining losers, Music helps... this song is about chester from linkin park how he grew up in my believes cuz i mean look at the other songs he's a social outcast in them too it's by far the best LP song
