| Idk how much i like this song. I think its more anti-war than anything. I just honetly wish they would go political. I get my political views from my own, not what band i listing to. I am a Bush supporter, but i still am sure as hell buying this album, just wish they would stick to their old subject, emotions. thats what i feel in love with. | |

| This is the my favorite on the cd and I love "when the rich wage war, it's the poor who die." because it shows clearly a harsh reality about these times. I wished Linkin Park didn't change their style but this song made it completely worth it to me. | |

| "Like they understand you in the back of the jet, When you can't put gas in your tank." --- Same could be said about Linkin Park band themselves, a little hypocritical I'd say. They managed to blame everything from gas prices, wages, existence of rich people, killing of cute bunnies on Bush. It's lame LP has to resort to same childish anti-Bush rants as every other band. If US Army didn't fight to free Europe, Japan and other places from nazism, communism and tyranny Linkin Park probably wouldn't exist or be allowed to sing anywhere. Asses. | |

| It is not about WW2, which had obvious reasons for turning to be a war, but the war in Iraq is more pointless then anything I have ever seen, Which is what linkin park is protesting | |

| tempflux, that was probably the dumbest comment Ive seen on this site ever, and thats saying something. Im not even going to bother saying anything about your "World Police" attitude. Anyone ever think that these "childish anti-Bush rants" are happening for a reason? Give it a decade and Bush will be remembered as the Tyrant he is, so much blood is on that mans hands its unreal. Think gas prices don't have anything to do with Bush? Where are the wars happening? Where are the largest deposits of oil in the world? Yeah, same place... weird. | |

| WOW YOU ARE ALL GAY, bush rants are dumb. Listen Rager, america only gets 10% of its oil from the middle east, so get your facts straight. We get our oil from mexico, russia, and eastern europe, and if it werent for the liberal conservationists, then we'd have a huge source from alaska. Also, bush is no tyrant, he saved the lives of millions of kurds, yea i'm sure you don't know what they are. But sadam hussein had his little ethnic cleansing, which is where he killed thousands and thousands of kurds, and the shites and sunnis killed eachother at the same time. So Bush is actually saving lives. Also, listen, you don't know shit, so shut the fuck up, no one wants your uninformed oppinion. | |

| alright here it is: Turn my mic up louder, I got to say something. Lightweight step it aside, when we comin'. Feel it in your chest, the syllables get pumping. People on the street, they panic and start running. Words on loose leaf sheet complete coming. I jump on my mind, I summon the rhyme of dumping. Healing the blind, I promise to let the sun in. Sick of the dark ways, we march to the drumming. Jump when they tell us they want to see jumping. Fuck that, I want to see some fist pumping. Risk something. Take back what's yours. Say something that you know they might attack you for Cause I'm sick of being treated like I have before. Like i'm stupid standing for what I'm standing for. Like this war's really just a different brand of war. Like it doesn't cater to rich and abandon poor Like they understand you in the back of the jet, When you can't put gas in your tank, These fuckers are laughing their way To the bank and cashing a check Asking you to have compassion and have some respect For a leader so nervous in an obvious way Stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay And the rest of the world watching at the end of the day In their living room laughing like, "What did he say?" Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen In my living room watching, But I am not laughing. 'Cause when it gets tense, I know what might happen. The world is cold, and bold men take action. Have to react to get blown into fractions. 10 years old is something to see, Another kid my age drugged under a G, Taken and bound and found later under a tree, I wonder if he thought, "The next one could be me." Do you see? The soldiers that are out today. That brush the dust with bulletproof vests away. It's ironic. At times like this you pray, But a bomb blew the mosque up yesterday. There's bombs in the buses, bikes, roads, Inside your market, your shops, your clothes, My dad, he's got a lot of fear I know, But enough pride inside not to let that show. My brother had a book he would hold with pride, A little red cover with a broken spine. In the back he hand wrote a quote inside, "When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die." Meanwhile, the leader just talks away Stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay And the rest of the world watching at the end of the day Both scared and angry like, "What did he say?" Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen. With hands held high into a sky so blue, The ocean opens up to swallow you. (x6) | |

| colton85 you deserve to be severely attacked. How could you support a selfish, hypocritic and evil murderer? Down with you and Bush. You are just like Bush, a morally bankrupt trash of a human. May the souls of the victims of Bush's maniacal cowboy adventures cry for God will not be pleased with you. Arrogant American you will suffer! I really love political songs which sound good such as this anyhow. | |

| Awesome Job on both whytie and Rager's comments! now i myself have never really been into the rap aspect of linkin park but this song has turned it around. i know there have always been antiwar/government songs for how long but with the severity of those songs when Bush came to be as president should be a sign that maybe he isn't doing such a great job. i only remember a few anti war songs for Clinton. i personally think the whole war in a iraq and getting saddam was just something he wanted to do to just make his father proud.. i mean well.. his father failed in that aspect. the comment on how the U.S. saved the world during WW2 was just so overwhelmingly ignorant of the sacrifice every other country friend or foe during that time. hell most of the world doesn't even have to wait a decade to see the tyrant he is. but now i'm just ranting on. anyway good song and great message. i'm liking this new sound of Linkin park. | |

| Woah lets step back a bit. If the US free Japan? Do consider vapourising its innocents, twice! a service to Japan, should they be thankful to the US for freeing them from their home and well...lives. I love this whole idea of liberating a country by nuke and napalm, nature's toothpaste. And to all you loyal Bushists out there, why do you continue to support someone who is clearly that retarded, have you seen his quotes, he has the IQ of a f***ing sandal! | |
