Im literally going through what is discribed in this song. I think the oxy morons are kind of the differerent perspectives or some what hope against reality. But s/he wont end it because of all of the lies told..and (the one saying it) does not want to end it even though s/he probably should. And in the end he's saying dont lie .. nobody is being fooled. Might just be me but thats my 2 cents

This song is about Chester having a big contrast in his life between getting divorced and then re-married. He said, "For a while I couldn't be completely happy with the new life I was starting and I couldn't end the last one." That is what this sing is about. It’s about Chester getting over his old life and being happy with his new life. Allot of people can related to him that is why I think this song is such a great song.

This reminds me of my recent ex. When the relationship started, she promised she would never get bored of me or break my heart. She did both. She lied to my face many times. And she was the one who dumped me...just to save her own heart from being broken. Funny thing was, I wanted to try and make it work. And I feel this song sums up how I feel. I shouldn't be the one "to leave this, in pieces". Because it's her loss. I instantly fell in love with this song when I first heard it for this reason. And I bet you when the album is finally released...it's going be a huge hit. The ska guitar is an odd, yet perfect choice. =]

So this song is Lp at their best. I hope that they will continue to bring more music as good as this.

pretty close Telling me to go But hands beg me to stay Your lips say that you love Your eyes say that you hate There's truth in your lies Doubt in your faith What you build you lay to waste There's truth in your lies Doubt in your faith All I've got's what you didn't take So I I wont be the one Be the one to leave this In pieces And you You will be alone Alone with all your secrets And regrets Don't lie You promise me the sky Then toss me like a stone You wrap me in your arms And chill me to the bone There's truth in your lies Doubt in your faith All I've got's what you didn't take So I I wont be the one Be the one to leave this In pieces And you You will be alone Alone with all your secrets And regrets Don't lie So I I wont be the one Be the one to leave this In pieces And you You will be alone Alone with all your secrets And regrets Don't lie

Good song. Like Breaking the Habit part 2, but better.
