I know there are lots of crappy versions of this tab but i guess this i the real thing.
This tab is more or less very accurate i'm sure about every part except that the chorus
may need to add some slides or something like that but the raft idea is still there
The guitar's pretty faded so peel your ears for the rhythym
Intro and most part of the song (Guitar 2)
Make sure the overtone is strong

Of all the songs on this CD, I like this one the most. Mostly because of the lyric, "Everybody has a face that they hold inside", because that's true. This band has a way of taking people who are miserable or who are feeling alone and basically just making them feel better - especially this song - because it shows them that they really aren't alone. At least that's what this CD does for me.

This was an excellent way to give thier CD a kickstart with "Papercut" being the first track. This song is fast-paced, has the hard feel that Linkin Park has found it's niche within and also has the excellent lyrics that Linkin Park has brought to the table always. This is my second or third favorite song on thier "Hybrid Theory" CD and I give it a very strong 9/10.

this song is great. it tells what its really like to have chronic depression and be depressed and/or angry all the time. it always describes what i feel like everyday. its not about multiple personalities or anything. its just telling the truth about depression. period.

"the sun goes down i feel the light betray me" the this person can only realy survive in the day time, but his paranoia comes out at night, so he feels his only friend (the sun) betrays him when nightfall comes

stickandstones, if you hate this song so much, why'd you post? You're a total fucking loser, go back to posting on your favorite nsuck songs. Okay, got that over with... The song to me is a warning. If it plays enough times in a day, I've got trouble coming...and it usually involves a stalker (makes sense) or me losing my cool (letting my paranoid/aggressive side take over). The song itself is definitely about having a little voice in your head (it could be a mockery of your own or somebody else's who constantly taunts you, you decide) that constantly puts you down and belittles you, and you feel like everything's swirling around in your mind and you feel like everybody's critisizing you and putting you down to the point where you just wanna be alone to collect the shattered pieces of yourself. The other point is that the pov is telling everybody that they shouldn't be so critical bc we're all like that in some degree. It could be just thinking over somebody's negative comment and feeling a bit hurt by it and having it play in your head for a while, or it could be full blown paranoia/schitzophrenia, to the point that if anybody is the least bit critical of your actions, you snap into another one of your personas and strike back. and I think that "The sun goes down I feel the light betray me" can be interpreted as losing your joy and happiness (the sun) and feeling like it has abandoned you and it won't return bc of all the negativity that surrounds you. Tell me what you think.
