i had no idea it was about the stolen generation, but i s'pose it is actually. now that i think about it, it makes sense. but i have always thought it was just about society in general trying to make everyone the same, everyone "right" and how this guy is rebelling against them. how his childhood was stolen from him. how he has to run away from everyone else. the last verse confuses me anyway i look at it. the voices especially. maybe the voices the right that is imprinted into his mind, and how he is still trying to fight the right, even though he is away from it. either way. i love the intro its not right, its a fucking outcry oxweaselxo

yeah definitly about the stolen generation, im surprised no1 has commented on it. awesome song. Chris Cheney is a legendary guitarist and an awesome songwriter, i agree completely with what his saying, for all u non australians its about the government in Australia in the 1930's and how they tried to eliminate the darker coloured aboriginals from Australia. i think they made them have relations with only white people. or half coloured aboriginals. THE AUSSIE GOVERNMENT WERE FUCKERS IN THE 30'S AND THEY STILL ARE.
