	it is about a terrible thing, but why make it sound like a terrible thing, and feel like a terrible thing? maybe that was their whole point... maybe they're saying that it could sickly end, so you should just be happy and live life to it's fullest until it happens, or something.

	Dude this song is brilliant. It makes you think, even if it isn't boring and offputting like you think it should be. It's so well written that when I got the album I was 11 years old and I even knew what the subject was. Their style of play is powerful and fun. Sullen and miserable is not The Living End. I used to play air guitar to the Living End and now that I can actually play guitar I don't cos I kno Chris' licks are way too hard to attempt. I am lazy. Proud they are from Melbourne too. =)

	great song, and although it IS about a school shooting the songs sounds kind of upbeat, which, in my opinion, was kind of an error for the band. if they had made it a little more sullen and less poppy, i think it would have made the impact of the lyrics meaning, its still a great song.

	I think this song also has elements of Grover Cleveland Elementary School "massacre", were a 16-year-old girl went on a rampage and killed 2 adults. When she was finally caught and questioned why she did it, she shrugged and replied "I don't like Mondays. This livens up the day." This quote also inspired the song "I Don't Like Mondays" By The Boomtown Rats.
