	"Forever Changes" has been one of my all-time favorite albums for decades now. It still sounds fresh, unpredictable and amazing. I am not familiar with this Bottle Rocket movie that people are talking about, but if people are discovering Love in this way, then that's a good thing. This a great Bryan MacLean song, and it is remarkable that it is one of the most known and covered Love songs, since Arthur Lee was the band's leader and main songwriter. (Arthur's songs on "Forever Changes" tend to be more obliquely structured and have very abstract lyrics.) The Damned did a good cover version of this song in 1986. More recently, Sid & Susie (aka Matthew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs) did a respectable version. But the original is the best.

	As deliriumtrigger mentioned, this song is extra-awesome because it accompanies one of the greatest scenes ever (in Bottle Rocket). But I always thought the last line was "And I will be alone again tonight with you my dear" Am I crazy?

	these song in bottlerocket is probably one of the greatest scenes ever filmed. Exaggeration maybe, but it's still good.

	I agree with previous posters. it wasn't until watching Bottle Rocket and hearing this song used in it that it REALLY took hold of me. I had loved this song before, but now that I think of that scene when listening really makes the song for me. so perfectly used. a song about loving someone and how it doesn't make a difference, because in the end, he's alone anyway...he's always on hold for somebody who never shows, or as I interpret it, somebody who never makes the decision to stick around for good.
