Machine Head – Descend The Shades Of Night (Solo)

Tabbed by Bloodtaster

P.M. = Palm Mute
/ = Slide Up
= Slide Down
^ = Pitch Bend

Tuning low to high: B, F#, B, E, G#, C#

I decided to have a go at tabbing this solo.
I think that most of it is right, but some of it is
guesswork, I’m not really a lead player.

Great song, this and Imperium are the best on the new album.

I watched Machine Head a few weeks ago (the fucking dominated once again) and Robb Flynn refered to this song as "an eight minute lamentation about death". And I agree with RedFactory, this is one of the best songs Machine Head have ever written.

I really like this song, it's kind of hard to tell what Robb Flynn is really saying in this one. My best guess is that death comes to us all, so we can either sit around and wait for it, pissed off at al the bad in the world, or we can use the time we have now to make a difference.
