And what exactly makes machine ehad nu-metal?? Jst cuz they experiment?Like every other band?Notice the influence ahrue luster played on the band, and compare it to when logan mader was in the band and then why ahrue left the band??Does it really hurt that much for a band to change their style??A couple of the softer songs are really blinding!! Like The Burning Red and Deafening Silence, not sayin that i'm a mellow guy, but these are a couple of master pieces which contribute to the great tapestry that is machine head.Or you could go on what Phil Anselmo says about music, if you don't like it, then don't listen to it.Plain as!

the lyrics to me could have two meanings, one being that this rob or whoever as a kid missed out on the fun but then realized that he'll be grown soon so he started havin fun with life and now hes gettin the message out...or he at ione time cared what everyone thought about him and now he says fuck you cus he has an amazing girl in his life that he thanks god for
