I wouldnt say they are up with slayer and Pantera yet as they have released 2 very poor albums and this album still has a few bad tracks on. But this could possibly be one of the greatest metal songs of all time.

Oh my fucking God. This is absolutely the best Machine Head song I've ever heard. The chorus just makes me wanna thrash some motherfuckers. And then the solo and the outro...GodDAMN! They really put this song away.

This song is about learning to live free, and to come at peace with all your pain and anger. Hes taking back his life and finding strength from his torment. This is by far one of the best songs machine head has written.

It's about daring to fail and daring to fuck up and doing what you do best in life and that's living it to the fullest without anyone ever naysaying you

I think everyone's pretty much hit this one on the head: simply one of the best anthems of defiance and perseverance ever written. Without a doubt, my favorite MH song and one of my favorites by any band period.

I like the way that in the CD booklet, it says [For you to sing]. Its about living life how you want to, and not being a sheep and doing what everyone else does. Thats what I think anyway.

This song to me sounds like a declaration of no longer taking shit from anyone. Whether it be the bullshit media, or people that bullied him as a kid. "All my life, always I've felt alone, conditioned to believe that I'm always wrong". This line sounds like he was never allowed an opinion as a kid which made him timid. "My every weakness I must turn into strength". This line says to me that all the bad emotion that's inside of him from the past years, he now needs to channel to strength, so he'll no longer be walked over. So my verdict is that it's a general "fuck you, I won't take anyone's shit anymore, I'm finally standing up for myself and if anyone wants to get in my way, fuck you".

I don't think that it is about hating society, but just not letting society change you.
