there is alot of comment bout injustice and i agree i see the lyrcs in a little more litteral way... i interpret it as a woman who was actually raped and perhaps beared a child from it... as the lyrics "i wanna see you bleeding face down in the dirt etc" turn into first person at the end i see it as being from the perspective of the child beared... "a fucking shell thats dead in my eyes.." the victims child speaking of the the person who brought them into this world by injustice captured almost poetically by rob flynns lyrics...

it's 'coz MH has no popularity of lots of people. and i think it's good, 'cause popularity damages the art, the music. look on slipknot now...

I'm not sure that it applies to this song, but 'Days Turn Blue to Gray' is about his wife's mom and dad and what shitty parents they were, so he may be referring to them in this song as well too.

I agree with -=ViRUS=- but I think it is about something else to: about a bad time in a life wich is over now-> the seasons wither away.

I agree with 'samwalton'. It was the first thing I thought about when I read these lyrics.

Revenge defiantly. its that sort of drive to destroy what has done wrong to someone.

I think this song is about heartless bastards who corrupt and destroy peoples lives, and how they get what is fuckin coming to them. in the end the people they harass and hurt will triumph.

It is more than just a song about revenge, but a reckoning. The injustice is one that has been long standing, over a lifetime. Also, I see it as something that was done to a woman, because of the constant use of the pronoun "she", and how the death of the oppresor is something that she has been praying for.
