| this song to me, is about a guy who feels he has no control over his life. he is just kinda going through life and not really experiencing it or understanding what he's all about. he's really frustrated causse he feels like he's wasted the time by just going with the flow. the line "I've walked this earth for 20 years and now my mind is floating out to sea." is him saying e's been around this long and still has no idea what he's really doing in life. he talks about driving because it's the one thing he is in control of. he can go as fast or slow as he wants. he can just cruise and go where ever. this is probably one of my favorite songs ever written ever by the way (=). i could be totally off on this interpretation, but that's cool. | |
