Well, this song is fucking great. I don`t know the meaning of this song( yeah, I`m stupid ). I love that grinding sound of guitars, this is one of the best from Mad Season. This was the first song that I heard from Mad Season and i was fucking mesmerised.

I think Layne is saying (I'm agreeing with all U guys) that he doesn't know what or how 2 love, not that he doesn't know anything like he's retarded. The guitars are wicked 2 and the solo is killer. Introducted me 2 Mad Season, glad i did. The CD just shows how much of a great song writter he is (We all knew that anyways

I think it's about how pointless love is, because there is so much hate in all of us.

Jim Carrey once said that "none of us is really in control of our lives. Anyone who thinks they are is full of shit". I think that kind of idea is in this song. Maybe Layne is asking "does any of us really know what we're doing here, and how to do it right?" There is a kind of an underlying question here "what is love?" With everyone destroying themselves and others ("why the fighting and the coming down?"), have any of us really felt love?
