This song is soooo amazing. I heard it for the first time this last weekend after buying the Furtherseemsforever cd, and found it as the first song on a mix cd that they was included. The lyrics are so great...and I've learned really cool words like Embers and Trite from it. And its meaning to me...well... "Please consider all things trite Forgiveness will be the thing that gets us by I know to have something like this broken is hard to fix" Me and my girlfriend broke up about a month ago, and i'm still pretty hurt by it still I guess, and this song sorta gives me a hope that I want to have, and even though things seem hard right now ... "What's broken can be fixed tonight" ..things might get better. I can't wait to get the cd.

please post lyrics to "soundtrack for our movie" by mae :) this song might be about the writer's method of dealing with hardships in life "We write things down as means to reconcile." and how sometimes it's not as easy to solve problems, but it also gives us a sense of hope, and how everything is always worth a shot "Make the change it's worth a try. What's broken can be fixed tonight." but then again, thats just me.

Great band. Most likely they'll break out and get a little more mainstream pretty soon, which could be a mixed blessing, but good for them. I'm just listening to this for one of the first times, and the lyrics look God-related. Pretty cool, pretty cool.

"I'm just listening to this for one of the first times, and the lyrics look God-related. Pretty cool, pretty cool." Yeah, it's because they're supposedly Christian rock... I did a Yahoo search on em for more info on the band, and I came up with all these Christian rock sites and radio stations and such...

Personally, I don't like his voice in this song: I LOVE LOVE LOVE Summertime and Skyline Drive. God Summertime has got to be the best song. ^.~*

First, this song is a great one. Of course it reminds me of sarah a lot so that could be the reason! As for the meaning of the song, I can't quite put my finger on it. Sometimes it seems like love for another person, regardless of gender. Or concern for a good friend. Or respect. Second, I'm not really sure Mae is Christian Rock. I mean, "the One whose glory never ends" seems to hint at God but if the one is lowercase than it could just be a person. I suppose that's left to interpretation, but the other songs don't really mention religion and all that. Until the next!
