| Great song, especially the slow clear chords in the beginning. The meaning is a little obscure at first. It seems like in the beginning he's trying to get a girl named Molly to stay, and not go to Spain or wherever it is where there are no stars, sun or moon. That could just be a metaphor for leaving him, as in breaking up with him. Either way, he's definitely trying to convince her to stay, but she left. | |

| I'm pretty sure that "When there's no sun And there's no moon And there's no stars" is just referring to the feeling you get when somebody very close to you leaves. The feeling that you've been abandoned, and that nothing matters anymore. | |
