There's a pattern of WWII-referencing in a lot of Marduk's music. But, for this song, the Panzers were a division of the Schutzstaffel - the SS - during WWII. As I'm sure we all know, Hitler's Protective Corps were quite powerful. I agree with kaoruchan100, while adding my two cents on the matter.

It's quite obviously about leading some sort of holy Satanic war against Christianity, and it's put into the context of a World War II-type situation.

I think the Panzer reference is effective an awesome but it's a tad close to Nazism. That's probably why they followed this up with an anti-Holocaust song. Both songs are fucking awesome. I love Marduk.
