| I think its the typical song about being in love but he doesn't care. (GREAT SONG HOWEVER) First verse, she is saying she needs his reasurence that the relationship won't end. But he's counting the days to maybe the relationship ending? Or something that would make it end like him moving away or something, Chorus is pretty self explanatory. Aimed towards him, and the way he acts. Like sarcasim. Second verse. He's pulling away, maybe cause he wants to break up or is moving away or something, and all she wants is him to hold her. She is naive and wonders why she still cares about her when he doesnt (or appears not to) care about her. 3rd verse. About him saying he will change, or that he sees it can works, basically wants another chance on something he thought was unlikly to work. But she is saying she wish's she didnt give him all the "power." Now shes like talking to herself, and its pretty self explanotory, saying before him she thinks she was happy. | |

| k here's my take :] - first verse: she's saying she needs his (or anyone's) reassurance that things are going to be okay, but it's just a matter of time before he leaves. hook: she's saying she doesn't want any of this- the lonliness, the separation, the rejection; and that she really cares about him. chorus: he keeps hurting her, and she keeps caring. she starts to think he's doing it on purpose; because he likes to see her 'broken'. she keeps wondering why he can't just hold her, why he can't just be there for her, and why they can't just be together and be happy. and so on. ;] but that's just my interpretation, if anyone agrees. good song though. :] | |

| i love to sing this one! i think it mean being in relation with anyone (father mother boy/girlfriend friends etc.) and feeling really insecure about the relation with that person, cause you feel like you don't really matter... or it could be addiction in any form...i would think personally of an ED of SI...and people around you don't really seem to care... ''And why can't you just hold me'' to the person who sees you being depressed: i just want you to hold me to heal me. ''And how come it is so hard'' life is hard, why is it so hard to not give in for once...the person with the addiction always gives in to starve or binge/purge or cut... ''And do you like to see me broken'' talking to the disorder: to you really want to ruin me? ''And why do I still care'' talking to herself asking herself why she still cares so much for her disorder... dunno...just my interpretation of it :) | |
